Impossible Burger(opens in a new tab) is made for people who love the taste and texture of ground meat, but is made from plants. Impossible Burger cooks like beef, tastes like beef and is better for the planet than beef from cows.* You can use Impossible Burger just like you would ground beef in any recipe, whether it’s in chili, tacos, lasagnas, or, of course, as a burger.
Want another reason to try Impossible Burger? It offers 19g of protein per 4 oz serving—the same as USDA(opens in a new tab) 80/20 ground beef. In addition to being an excellent source of protein, Impossible Burger is also a good source of dietary fiber (14g total fat), vitamins, and essential minerals, and is Halal, Gluten-Free and Kosher certified.
We use soy leghemoglobin as a source of heme to give Impossible Burger its meaty flavor; coconut and sunflower oils to make it sizzle on the griddle and common binders like methylcellulose and food starch to bring it all together. We also use a natural antioxidant, mixed tocopherols, because food safety and quality are a top priority.
