There’s nothing more classic than a good burger, but trust us, this one is anything but basic. In it, you’ll find some delightfully unlikely pairings, like sriracha and pepperoncini, along with classic ingredients like fresh sliced tomato, onions, and lettuce. The addition of a brioche bun, rather than a potato or white bread bun, adds a hint of sweetness that pulls all of the flavors together. Bonus points if you take on the task of baking your own homemade brioche buns, but store-bought will always do the trick!

The magic of this burger comes from the perfect balance of spicy, crunchy, sweet, sour, and salty flavors.   • 12 Ounce Package Impossible™ Ground Beef Meat From Plants
  • 1 Cup Mayo
  • 2 Tablespoons Sriracha
  • 2 Tablespoons Minced Pepperoncini
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 Tablespoons Dill Pickle Relish
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 3 Slices American Cheese
  • 3 Brioche Buns
  • 3 Leaves Butter Lettuce
  • 6 Slices Tomato
  • 6 Onion Slices
  • Dill Pickle Chips

  1. Make the Americana Sauce

    Mince the pepperoncini and combine with mayo, ketchup, sriracha, and dill pickle relish. *Make it 100% plant-based with plant-based mayo.

  2. Cook the Impossible Beef

    Divide Impossible Ground Beef into 4 burger patties. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Add a slice of cheese on top and cover until the cheese has melted. *Make it 100% plant-based with plant-based cheese.


    Lightly toast the burger buns, and then add a layer of the Americana sauce. Top with the burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, and dill pickle chips.


    Makes four Impossible cheeseburgers, or two delicious double Impossible cheeseburgers.
