One thing you learn quickly when you go to a cookout party is this: everyone knows someone who makes the best guacamole they’ve ever had. We think there is a simple explanation for that. The reason some people’s guacamole tastes better than most is because they make it and it’s wonderfully fresh. It hasn’t been sitting on the shelf in a grocery store refrigerator for a week. That’s why we think you should try your hand at making your own guacamole for this gloriously tasty Impossible™ Burger grilling recipe.

It’s not just the fresh guacamole that you’ll be making, this recipe is a festival of great ingredients, starting with the juicy meat, made from plants—Impossible Burger. First, you’ll mix in a blend of spices similar to what you’d use for tacos and form your taco burger patties.

For the buns, we prefer brioche buns. Brioche is a French type of bread. It has extra egg and butter in the batter, which makes it lighter, fluffier, and, well, just plain better tasting. One burger with brioche buns and you’ll never buy another plain old grocery store hamburger bun ever again.

As far as the guacamole goes, it’s pretty easy to make. Utensils you’ll need to make it? A bowl and a fork. Prepare the ingredients and mash them in a bowl to the consistency you prefer, whether slightly chunky or smooth.

When your friends are wolfing these burgers down, inevitably someone will ask you where you got this delicious guacamole. Just tell them all it took was a bowl and a fork.
