6 Ingredients

  • 2 Packages Impossible™ Chicken Patties Meat From Plants
  • 24 oz jar Marinara Sauce
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan or Plant-Based Parmesan
  • 1 lb fresh Mozzarella or Plant-Based Mozzarella, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Basil, chiffonade

How to prepare

Step 1: Bake the Impossible Chicken Patties

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place frozen patties evenly across a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes total, flipping patty over halfway through baking. Remove from oven, and leave oven on at 400.

Step 2: Finish the Dish

Lightly brush a baking dish with olive oil. Cover the bottom of the baking dish with 2 cups of marinara sauce and arrange the chicken patties over the sauce, overlapping the patties where needed to fit in the dish. Spoon another cup of marinara sauce evenly over the patties--you're not looking to fully cover. Scatter the Parmesan over the patties, and then the slices of mozzarella. Bake until hot and the cheese is nicely browned, about 15-20 minutes. While the patties bake, heat the remaining marinara sauce. Once the patties are ready, remove from oven, sprinkle the basil over the patties, and serve immediately alongside the remaining hot marinara sauce for additional dipping. Enjoy!
