- 10 oz package Impossible® Steak Bites Meat From Plants
- Cooked White Rice
- 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
- Sauteed Mustard Greens or Spinach
- Kimchi, Pickled Daikon, Shaved Green Onion
- Sliced Cucumber, or Sliced Avocado as desired
Bulgogi Sauce
- 5 tbsp Mirin
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger
- 1 Asian Pear or Sweet Apple, peeled and cored
- 1 ½ tbsp Gochujang
- 1 medium Shallot, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 chopped Green Onion
- 3 tbsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
Slaw
- 2 cups Savoy Cabbage, shredded
- ½ cup Carrot, shaved thin with a vegetable peeler
- ½ cup Daikon, cut into thin strips
- 1 chopped Green Onion
Slaw Vinaigrette
- 1 tbsp Seasoned Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Tamari or Soy Sauce
- ½ tbsp Sesame Seeds
- 1 tbsp Agave
- Juice of ½ Lime
- ½ tsp Kosher Salt
How to prepare
Step 1: Make The Bulgogi Sauce
Combine mirin, garlic, ginger, Asian pear or apple, Gochujang sauce, shallot, dark brown sugar, green onion, and 3 tablespoons of the tamari or soy sauce in a blender. Blend until smooth, and reserve.
Step 2: Prep The Slaw
Combine savoy cabbage, daikon, carrot, cilantro, and green onion in a bowl.
Step 3: Make The Vinaigrette
Combine vinaigrette ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well incorporated. Mix the vinaigrette into the slaw. Allow to sit for 30 minutes.
Step 4: Cook The Impossible Steak Bites
Heat a lightly oiled non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add frozen steak bites to preheated pan, and cook for 11 mins, stirring occasionally. Add the Bulgogi sauce and bring to a simmer, stirring and cooking the sauce with the Impossible Steak Bites for 1-2 mins. Remove from heat.
Step 5: Serve, Share and Enjoy
Fill each bowl with cooked rice, and top with Impossible Steak Bites, slaw, sauteed mustard greens or spinach, and your favorite side condiments, like kimchi, pickled daikon, green onion, sliced cucumber, or avocado. Garnish with sesame seeds, and enjoy!
