Some of us live for Saturday morning. You've got a whole week of work behind you, the entire weekend ahead of you, and a few blissful moments to take things slow. To enjoy your coffee. To check your social media, peruse a newspaper, or read the side of your milk carton. Everything is quiet perfection—until you're faced with one of the more harrowing decisions of the morning:
Do you want a sweet or savory breakfast? Oh, the agony. Cheer up, friends—the Impossible™ French Toast Sausage Patty Breakfast Sandwich recipe is both!
With delicious, meaty Impossible™ Sausage Patties Made From Plants tucked between fluffy slices of french toast, you can have your savory and your sweet—and yes, some ridiculously amazing maple cinnamon butter. We love this recipe for a quiet morning. It's also a snap to cook up in larger batches, making it fab for a brunch party or the day after a big holiday celebration with your extended fam.
Want to make your breakfast entirely plant-based? Swap brioche (traditionally made with eggs and dairy) for a vegan brioche—or go with another sturdy vegan bread, like sourdough, french bread, or white or wheat bread. Tip: Day-old bread (or pre-toasted bread!) holds up better when dipped in your french toast mixture.
Enjoy this sweet AND savory kick-off to your weekend!
