- 1 Package Impossible™ Chicken Tenders Made From Plants
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Whole Grain Mustard
- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 2 Tablespoons Freshly Chopped Parsley
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- Kosher Salt to taste
- 8 slices swiss cheese
- 8 slices of fresh tomato, plus additional chopped tomato
- Dried Oregano to taste
- Fresh Black Pepper to taste
- 4 Toasted Hot Dog buns
Make the Mustard
Ingredients used
- 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Whole Grain Mustard
- 1/2 Cup Mayo
- 2 Tablespoons Freshly Chopped Parsley
- 3 Tablespoons Honey
- Kosher Salt to taste
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and mix until well combined. Transfer to a squeeze bottle if desired.
Prepare the Tenders
Ingredients used
- 1 Package Impossible™ Chicken Tenders Made From Plants
- 8 slices swiss cheese
- 8 slices of fresh tomato, plus additional chopped tomato
- Dried Oregano to taste
- Fresh Black Pepper to taste
Prepare Impossible Chicken Tenders according to package instructions for the oven on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Remove the tenders from the oven once crispy, and turn the oven to broil. Add one slice of tomato and one slice of Swiss cheese to the top of each tender, sprinkle with dried oregano as well as fresh black pepper. Broil until cheese is nicely browned and melted.
Build the Bird Dog
Ingredients used
- 4 Toasted Hot Dog buns
Slather toasted buns with honey mustard, add two tenders with cheese and tomato per bun. Top with additional chopped tomato, a sprinkle of dried oregano, and a squiggly line of honey mustard. Enjoy!
