One thing you learn quickly when you go to a cookout party is this: everyone knows someone who makes the best guacamole they’ve ever had. We think there is a simple explanation for that. Homemade guacamole is wonderfully fresh. That’s why we think you should try your hand at making your own guacamole for this gloriously tasty Impossible™ Burger grilling recipe.

It’s not just the fresh guacamole that you’ll be making, this recipe is a festival of tasty ingredients, starting with the juicy meat, made from plants—Impossible Burger. First, you’ll mix in a blend of spices similar to what you’d use for tacos and form your taco burger patties.

For the buns, we prefer brioche buns. Brioche has egg and butter in the batter, which makes it lighter, fluffier, and, well, delicious. Burgers on brioche buns are a match made in heaven.

So, grill those burgers up, and top with cheddar cheese, and you'll be all set to enjoy a jalapeño cheddar, taco guac burger.

  • 12 安士 Package Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants
  • 3 瓣 Garlic, Minced
  • 1/2 茶匙 Sweet Paprika
  • 1/2 茶匙 Cumin, Ground
  • 1/2 茶匙 Fresh Oregano, Minced
  • 1/4 茶匙 Ancho Chile Powder
  • 3 Brioche Buns
  • 9 片 Jalapeño
  • 3 Butter Lettuce Leaves
  • 6 片 Tomato
  • 3 片 Sharp Cheddar Cheese (plant-based, if desired)
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1/2 束 Cilantro, Finely Chopped
  • 2 Limes, Juiced
  • 3 湯匙 Diced Red Onion
  • Kosher Salt to Taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

  1. PREP YOUR INGREDIENTS

    材料

    • 12 安士 Package Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants
    • 3 瓣 Garlic, Minced

    Combine Impossible Beef, garlic and spices in a bowl, and mix until well incorporated.

  2. FORM THE IMPOSSIBLE PATTIES

    Form 4 oz patties (or your desired size).

  3. MAKE THE GUACAMOLE

    • 2 Avocados
    • 1/2 束 Cilantro, Finely Chopped
    • 2 Limes, Juiced
    • 3 湯匙 Diced Red Onion
    • Kosher Salt to Taste

    Mash the avocados. Fold in the other ingredients until well incorporated. Add salt to taste.

  4. GRILL YOUR IMPOSSIBLE BURGERS

    • 3 片 Sharp Cheddar Cheese (plant-based, if desired)

    Set your grill to 400F or medium-high heat and grill to desired temperature (approximately 2 minutes per side). Season with salt and pepper as needed. Top with cheddar cheese to melt.

  5. ASSEMBLE AND ENJOY!

    To build the burger, place the lettuce and tomato on the bun, then the cooked burger with cheese, jalapeños, and top it all off with guacamole!
