  • Turmeric Powder, 0.5 Teaspoon
  • Coconut Oil, 2 Tablespoons
  • Flour, 1.3 Cups
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • Salt, 1 Teaspoon

How to prepare

Step 1: MAKE YOUR DOUGH

Add 1 tsp of salt and flour into a mixing bowl. Slowly add water into flour while mixing until dough ball forms, then knead dough on a floured surface until dough is smooth. Wrap dough and let rest at room temperature.

Step 2: PREP YOUR INGREDIENTS

Chop onions, garlic and chilli, then set aside. Quarter tomatoes and set aside.

Step 3: COOK THE KEEMA

Heat up 2 tbsp of coconut oil and crumble Impossible Beef to brown. Sweat onions, garlic and chilli until soft. Add cumin powder, fennel powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, turmeric powder and tomato paste. Fry until fragrant. Add quartered tomatoes and vegetable stock or water. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt to taste.

Step 4: COOK THE FLATBREAD

Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll out as thin as possible until dough is slightly see through. Heat up a dry pan and lay rolled out dough, cooking the dough in a dry pan for about 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown and crispy.

Step 5: serve and enjoy!

Serve the Impossible Keema with the Flatbread, makes 3-4 servings.
