This quick avo toast recipe features your choice of bread or bagel, a ripe avocado, and Impossible™ Sausage Patties Made From Plants. Customize with your choice of veggies, or sub the classic salt and pepper with your favorite breakfast seasoning of choice.

  • 1 Impossible™ Sausage Patty Made From Plants
  • 1 Slice Bread of Choice, toasted
  • 1/2 Avocado, smashed
  • Slices of additional veggies, such as tomato, cucumber or radish, to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Prepare the Impossible Sausage

    Preheat nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place a frozen sausage patty on the skillet, and cover. Cook 2 minutes per side for approximately 4 minutes total or until hot, and remove from pan. Alternatively, microwave sausage patties on high for 1.5 to 2 minutes on a microwave-safe plate.

  2. Toast the Bread

    While the sausage cooks, toast your bread, smash your avocado, and slice the other veggies.

  3. Build your Avo Toast

    Spread the smashed avo on the toast. Cut the Impossible Sausage patty in half, and arrange the tomato, cucumber or radish slices with the sausage patty slices decoratively on top of the avocado. Season veggies to taste with salt and pepper, and enjoy!
