Privacy Notice for Applicants Residing in the EEA

Impossible Foods, Inc. and related entities (together, “Impossible Foods” or the “Company”) is committed to processing your Personal Information securely and transparently. This privacy notice sets out, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and applicable data privacy laws in the EEA member states, the categories of data that we may collect on you as a candidate of the Company and the purposes for which the categories of Personal Information shall be used. For purposes of this notice, “Personal Data” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier with a natural person that the Company collects about its employees, who reside in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), in their capacity as the Company’s employees.

1. Data We Process, Why We Process, and the Legal Purpose for Processing Your Personal Data

The categories of Personal Data we process about you may include the following:

A. Identifiers We process identifiers such as: your name, postal address, telephone number, email address, and phone number. We process your identifiers in order to evaluate applicants’ qualifications for employment with the Company; communicate with applicants; for recordkeeping purposes; to demonstrate applicants’ agreement to, or acceptance of, documents presented to them, e.g. confidentiality, invention assignment and arbitration agreement, acknowledgement of employment application, and offer letter; to evaluate and improve the recruiting process. Our legal basis for processing such data is that the processing is necessary in connection with our legitimate interests in recruitment and hiring candidates pursued by impossible Foods, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject ("Legitimate Interests"). The processing is also necessary to take steps relating to potentially entering into an employment relationship with a candidate. Lastly, the processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, such as retaining records relating to the recruitment process for periods required under applicable laws or regulations.

B. Professional or Employment-Related Information

We process information such as: employment history evaluations, membership in professional organizations and professional certifications. We process your professional and employment-related information in order to evaluate applicants’ qualifications for employment with the Company; communicate with applicants; for recordkeeping purposes; to evaluate and improve the recruiting process; and for diversity and inclusion purposes. Our legal basis for processing such data is that the processing is necessary in connection with our Legitimate Interests in recruitment, hiring candidates, and diversity and inclusion pursued by impossible Foods. The processing is also necessary to take steps relating to potentially entering into an employment relationship with a candidate. Lastly, the processing is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, such as retaining records relating to the recruitment process for periods required under applicable laws or regulations.

2. Other Uses and Disclosures We may process your Personal Data for other purposes not listed in this notice. If we do so, we will make it known to you at the time we collect your Personal Information and obtain your consent.

3. Protecting Your Personal Information

We are aware of the requirement to ensure your Personal Information is protected against accidental loss or disclosure, destruction or damage and abuse. Your Personal Information will be received and processed by third parties who provide services to Impossible Foods in connection with the purposes of processing described above, like a recruiting platform, technology providers that support our systems and infrastructure, and other vendors acting on our behalf. We share your Personal Information with our service providers only when they have agreed to process your Personal Information only to provide services to us and have agreed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized use, access, or disclosure.

Where we share your Personal Information with third parties it is only pursuant to a legal obligation, and we provide written instructions to them to ensure that your Personal Data is held securely and in line with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Third parties must implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your Personal Information. We do not sell your Personal Information. 4. Your data subject rights

As a data subject, you can assert a number of rights under the GDPR. If you wish to make use of these rights, please contact the responsible controller for the processing activity using the contact details specified above.

  • Right of access: You have the right to ask for access to the data stored about you. This information concerns, among other things, the categories of data processed, the purposes for which they are processed, the source of the data, if not collected directly from you, and, if applicable, the recipients to whom your data were transmitted. You can also obtain a copy of your data.

  • Right to rectification: You can request the rectification of incorrect personal data and the completion of incomplete personal data concerning you.

  • Right to erasure: Subject to the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, you can request the deletion of your data. This may be the case, for example, if the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, if you withdraw your consent, which is the basis for the processing of the data, and there is no other legal basis for the processing, if you object to the processing of your data and there are no overriding legitimate reasons for the processing. We may refuse to delete your personal data if the processing of your personal data is necessary to ensure compliance with a legal obligation or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

  • Right to restriction of processing: Furthermore, you may have a right to limit the processing of your data, i.e. to tag the personal data stored with the aim of limiting their future processing. One of the conditions specified in Art. 18 GDPR must be met for this purpose.

  • Right to withdraw consent: When you have given consent to a processing of your data, you can withdraw such consent at any time and without giving reasons. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent until withdrawal.

  • Right to data portability: You may also have a right to obtain the data concerning you that you have provided, made available in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You may transfer this data to another responsible party at your discretion. In addition, you can demand that your data will be transferred directly to another controller, insofar as this is technically possible.

  • Right to object: You may object to the processing of your data at any time for reasons arising from your specific situation, provided that the processing is based on the legitimate interests of Impossible Foods or those of a third party. In this case, we will no longer process your data, unless they can prove compelling reasons for processing that are worthy of protection, which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Your right to withdraw your consent to processing is possible at any time irrespective of this right of objection.

  • Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint at the supervisory data protection authority regarding the data processing carried out by Impossible Foods if you believe that it infringes applicable data protection law.
