It’s loaded with cheese, sausage made from plants, and thinly sliced red onion on a crisp pizza crust, and topped with fresh basil and plenty of red chili flakes if you like it spicy!

- 8 Impossible™ Sausage Patties Made From Plants
- 2 premade pizza crusts, Homemade or store-bought
- 2 Cups Pizza sauce
- 1/2 Red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 Cup Shredded mozzarella or plant-based mozzarella
- 6 Leaves Fresh Basil
- Red pepper flakes to taste
Prepare the Impossible Sausage
Preheat oven to 218C. Chop thawed Impossible Sausage Patties into small pieces, or crumble with your hands to achieve a more organic ground sausage shape.
Prepare and Bake the Pizza
Place homemade crust or store bought pizza rounds on baking sheets or on a pizza peel ready to transfer to a hot pizza stone. Top each evenly with pizza sauce, cheese and red onion. Bake for about 4 minutes, then add chopped Impossible Sausage Patties evenly over pizzas, and continue to bake 4-6 more minutes or until cheese, crust and Impossible Sausage is lightly browned.
Garnish and Serve
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Cut into slices and garnish with freshly torn basil and red pepper flakes.
