The truth is that almost everything we eat (from applesauce to yogurt) is a combination of nature and science; it’s all a process, often including blending, mixing, fermentation, or baking. Our products are processed by mixing carefully selected ingredients, derived from plants or by fermentation, to create something unique and delicious. Check out our blog post to learn more about processing. Want the details? Click here.
We strive to make plant-based products that are equally or more nutritious than those they’re meant to replace, including as a source of protein. Soy is the primary source of protein in our products, providing comparable protein to a similar-sized serving of their animal-based counterparts. Not only are you getting protein when you choose Impossible™ products, but you’re getting high-quality protein. Soy has a well-balanced amino acid profile providing all essential amino acids. Want the details? Click here.
All of our products contain soy, and Impossible™ Chicken Nuggets Made From Plants contain soy and wheat. They do not contain dairy, eggs, fish, peanuts, tree nuts, or shellfish, and they’re safe for those with alpha-gal syndrome. Impossible Beef and Impossible Chicken Nuggets both contain alliums. If you do not wish to consume alliums, you should not eat either of these products. If you’re extremely allergic to potatoes and typically avoid potato starch, you may also want to avoid Impossible Chicken Nuggets. Want the details? Click here.
Impossible™ Chicken Nuggets Made From Plants do contain gluten. Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants, however, does not. We encourage you to review our ingredient labels regularly, as we are continually working to improve the taste and nutrition of Impossible™ products, including through periodic recipe updates.
