Speaking Of Being Made From Plants…

Our Mission

We strive to make delicious food that’s nutrient-packed, better for the planet, and way better for animals. "The way to solve the most important and urgent problem humanity has potentially ever faced turned out to be to figure out how to make the best burger on earth."

Pat Brown, Founder of Impossible Foods

Animal agriculture is a significant contributor of the global greenhouse gas footprint. Luckily, we live in a time in history when animals are not the only way to produce everybody’s favourite food.

Simply choosing Impossible Beef over the animal version uses approximately 95% less land and 69% less water, while generating 88% less greenhouse gases than beef from cows produced in Australia.¹

The truth is that almost everything we eat (from applesauce to yogurt) is a combination of nature and science; it’s all a process, often including blending, mixing, fermentation, or baking. Our products are processed by mixing carefully selected ingredients, derived from plants or by fermentation, to create something unique and delicious. Check out our blog post to learn more about processing. Want the details? Click here.
