- 12 oz Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 2 tsp Dried Oregano
- Dried Thyme, 2 Teaspoons
- Dried Rosemary, 2 Teaspoons
- Dried Parsley, 2 Teaspoons
- 1 Cucumber
- Fresh Dill, 1 Tablespoon
- Plain Yogurt, 1 Cup
- Lemon Juice, 2 Teaspoons
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- Cherry Tomatoes, sliced, 0.25 Cup
- 1/4 Red Onion, sliced
- Kosher Salt To Taste
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Garlic, 1 Clove
- Pita Bread
How to prepare
Step 1: Season the IMPOSSIBLE BEEF
Mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, cumin, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dried parsley, and combine with the Impossible Beef. Form into three flat oval patties. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
Step 2: MAKE TZATZIKI SAUCE
Peel and finely dice the cucumber, mince the garlic clove, and chop the dill. Combine with yogurt and lemon juice, and whisk in olive oil until fully incorporated. Season with kosher salt to taste. *Make it 100% plant-based with plant-based yogurt.
Step 3: Cook the Gyros
Add vegetable oil to a pan over medium-high heat. Sear Impossible gyro patties until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Step 4: ASSEMBLE and Enjoy
Top each pita with Impossible Gyro, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and tzatziki sauce. Serve and enjoy!
