“Processed” foods are often mistakenly conflated with “junk” or nutrient-poor foods. However, whether or not a food is processed does not necessarily dictate its nutritional value. In fact, many foods are processed in order to increase nutritional value and safety. Take Impossible products, for example, which are nutrient-dense foods with high-quality protein, fibre and essential nutrients.
All of our products available in the U.K. are made with non-GM ingredients.
Yes, you can freeze Impossible™ products. How you handle freezing depends on the specific item and how it was purchased:
* Items sold chilled: Unopened packages can be frozen to use later. Once thawed in the refrigerator, it should be cooked within 1-2 days of opening. Do not thaw and refreeze any products.
* Pre-Frozen Products: These are sold frozen and should be kept frozen until ready to prepare and enjoy. You can take out what you need and reseal the rest back in the freezer.
For best results, we recommend cooking all products from chilled.
Yes, Independent, ISO-compliant life-cycle assessments demonstrate that Impossible products require vastly less land, water and greenhouse-gas emissions than animal-based meat.
