- 12 Ounce Package Impossible™ Beef Made From Plants
- 1 Medium Shallot, sliced
- 6 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 2 Thai chilis, sliced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 Bunch Thai Basil, stems removed
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon plant-based fish sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Hoisin Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Neutral Cooking Oil, or as needed
- White rice, cooked for serving
Cook the Impossible Beef
Add oil to a large pan over medium-high heat. Crumble Impossible Beef into the pan, and cook until well seared and golden brown. Flip and stir the crumbles to continue searing and cooking evenly on all sides until cooked through. Remove from pan, and set aside.
Add the Veggies
To the same pan add in the shallot, garlic, Thai chili and red bell pepper. Sauté until fragrant and the peppers are browned on some edges and slightly softened.
Build the Sauce
Add the soy sauce, sugar, plant-based fish sauce, and hoisin sauce and cook until the sauce begins to thicken and everything is caramelized.
Bring it Together
Add the Impossible Beef back to the pan, and stir to incorporate sauce. Toss in the basil and remove from the heat. Serve over a bowl of white rice. Enjoy!
