  • 1 Package Impossible™ Burger
  • 14 Ounces Korean Potato Starch Vermicelli Noodles
  • 3 Ounces Spinach
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1 Carrot
  • 6 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 4 Teaspoons Toasted Sesame Seeds
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Korean Chili Paste (Gochujang)
  • 4 Tablespoons Water

  1. MAKE THE SPICY SAUCE

    Ingredients used

    • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
    • 4 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
    • 1 Teaspoon Salt
    • 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
    • 2 Tablespoons Korean Chili Paste (Gochujang)
    • 4 Tablespoons Water

    Combine the ingredients for the spicy sauce and set aside.

  2. PREP YOUR INGREDIENTS

    • 3 Ounces Spinach
    • 1 Small Onion
    • 1 Carrot
    • 2 Cloves Garlic

    Peel and cut the onion and carrot into thin slices. Mince the garlic. Trim the ends of the spinach. Blanch spinach in a pot of boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Rinse under cold water and squeeze out excess liquid. Cut the spinach into 2-inch pieces and set aside.

  3. PREP THE NOODLES

    Ingredients used

    • 14 Ounces Korean Potato Starch Vermicelli Noodles
    • 6 Tablespoons Sesame Oil

    Cook the vermicelli noodles in a large pot of boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Drain off excess water and use a pair of scissors to make a couple cuts in the noodles. Add 2-3 tablespoons of sesame oil into the cooked vermicelli noodles to prevent the noodles from sticking together.

  4. MAKE THE JAPCHAE

    Ingredients used

    • 1 Package Impossible™ Burger

    Add 3 tablespoons of sesame oil in a frying pan over high heat. Sauté garlic, onion and carrot for 3-5 minutes until tender. Crumble in Impossible™ Burger and cook for 5-7 minutes until brown. Add in the cooked noodles, spinach and spicy sauce. Stir fry until all the ingredients are heated through.

  5. SERVE, SHARE, AND ENJOY

    Ingredients used

    • 4 Teaspoons Toasted Sesame Seeds

    Transfer to a plate and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Makes 4 portions.
