  • 4 Impossible™ Indulgent Burger Patties Made From Plants
  • 2 Brioche or Sesame Seed Buns, toasted
  • 1 White Onion, sliced into four round steaks
  • Cornichons, sliced lengthwise, as desired
  • 7 Ounces American-style Plant-Based Cheese
  • 7 Ounces Water
  • Mayo and Ketchup as desired
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper as desired
  • Olive oil as needed
4 steps
  1. Make the Cheese Sauce

Bring 7 ounces of water to boil. Slowly whisk in 7 ounces of plant-based American-style cheese until fully incorporated and smooth. Please note: if sauce is made in advance and refrigerated, you may need to add a splash of water when reheating.

  2. Caramelize the Onions

Brush each side of the onion slabs with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. In a pan over high heat or directly on a hot grill, sear the onions for 5 to 7 minutes on each side until tender and nicely caramelized.

  3. Cook the Impossible Indulgent Burgers

Over medium-high heat, sear your burgers in a pan or on the grill to desired temperature (approximately 2 minutes per side). Season with salt and pepper as desired.

  4. Build your burgers

Spread mayo and ketchup on the bottom buns and layer with burger patties and cheese sauce on each burger. Top with onion slices and cornichons, and more ketchup and mayo if desired. Slice in half to serve 4 people, or serve two burgers whole for maximum burger indulgence!
