    How do we get our chicken so tender, juicy, and delicious?

    Impossible Chicken Made From Plants is made with soy protein to deliver that meaty bite. This plant-based protein is a good source of—yep!—protein, as well as essential Vitamins like vitamin B12. Sunflower oil gives Impossible Chicken its juiciness. And holding it all together is methylcellulose (a common binder in sauces, jams, even ice cream) and food starch (a carbohydrate regularly used in foods like canned soup). A blend of herbs and seasoning gives our plant-based chicken a delicious, savory flavor. And lastly, wheat flour creates golden-brown breadcrumbs to give it a crispy coating.

    How do we get our nuggets so tender, juicy, and delicious?

    Soy protein delivers that meaty bite and essential nutrition — it’s packed with protein and is a good source of fibre, amino acids, and essential minerals like magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and iron. 

    Sunflower oil gives Impossible Chicken Nuggets their juiciness.

    Methylcellulose (a culinary binder commonly found in ice cream, sauces, and jams), and food starch (a carbohydrate commonly found in foods like canned soup) are the binders that bring it all together.

    A blend of herbs and seasoning give them a delicious, savoury flavour.

    To get our golden-brown crust, we use wheat flour breadcrumbs that give Impossible Chicken Nuggets a crispy, crunchy coating.

    No - Impossible Chicken Nuggets contain gluten in the breadcrumb coating.

    As far as the term “healthy” goes, we believe it’s best to focus on consuming a healthy and diverse mix of foods that provide the vital nutrients our bodies need. Our mission as a company is to save the planet, and one way we do that is by making sure people can get the nourishment and satisfaction they need from plants instead of animals. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep adding vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole grains to your plate - our products are just one part of a well rounded diet!

    It is important to get the recommended amount of daily vitamins, nutrients and protein by adding in a variety of these types of foods into your diet (and treat yourself occasionally to Impossible Chicken Nuggets when you want a quick and delicious meal!).

    HOW TO COOK IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN NUGGETS: 

    Impossible Chicken Nuggets are convenient and easy to make in the oven, microwave, or air fryer. 

    Here are a few pointers on each type of preparation:

    Conventional Oven (We recommend this!)

    1. Preheat Oven to 190ºC.

    2. Arrange frozen nuggets on a baking sheet. 

    3. Bake for 11 minutes. 

    Air Fryer 

    Place frozen nuggets in an air fryer tray, and close cover 

    1. Heat at 180ºC

    2. 5 nuggets for 7 minutes 

    3. 10 nuggets for 8 minutes 

    Microwave

    Arrange frozen nuggets on a microwave safe plate.

    Heat on HIGH: 

    1. 5 nuggets for 1 to 1:30 minutes

    2. 10 nuggets for 2 to 2:30 minutes

    All prep methods: Let cool 2 minutes before serving.

    ARE IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN NUGGETS BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT THAN ANIMAL-DERIVED NUGGETS?

    Yes! Impossible Chicken Nuggets use less water, less land, and generate less greenhouse gas emissions than animal chicken nuggets.
