Steve Turner joined Impossible Foods in April 2021 in the newly created position of Chief Experience Officer. In this role, Steve oversees all aspects of marketing and the customer experience and is a key member of the company’s senior executive team. His work focuses on building brand awareness, accelerating the global consumer movement to a sustainable food system and recruiting top-tier talent to Impossible Foods.
As both an internal employee and a consultant, Steve has helped guide creative work and explosive growth for some of the world's most innovative companies, including Apple, Adidas, Apeel, Beautycounter, Bird, Lululemon, Samsung, Quiet, Nike and the BBC.
Steve is the founder of Sublime, a strategic creative consulting firm that advises CEOs, CMOs and other executives. Previously, he spent 10 years at Apple, where he rose to global Executive Creative Director for Apple’s Media Arts Lab and built the global network of seven offices. He worked with Steve Jobs to launch Apple's unprecedented stream of disruptive new technologies, including iPod+iTunes, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Music.
Steve has also worked with Jimmy Iovine at Beats and Phil Knight at Nike. Previously he co-founded Milk, a multi-disciplinary creative studio, and also helped create cult record label City Rockers. He serves as an advisor to CalArts and a number of technology platforms.
A UK native, Steve is now based in Los Angeles.
